Our Story

I am Ákos Kaszap, the owner of Főnix Ceramics, founded in 1998. Our Studio is located in the downtown area of Szentendre, a town that is one of Hungary's popular tourist attractions.

We admire the timeless beauty of clay while constantly exploring new possibilities it holds. Our goal is to create unique, design pieces that bring joy for years and preserve the significance of artisan traditions.

Our functional items are fired at "high temperatures" (1250°C), making them more resistant to mechanical impacts.

Our ceramics are dishwasher-safe and can be used in the microwave. Naturally, they contain no harmful substances to health.

Each of our ceramics, from the first stage to the last, is crafted individually by hand in artisanal conditions.
